Partner & Managing Director
My career in real estate began in 2007, when I started with MSC Retail as an associate. Over the years I have represented some of Philadelphia’s most prominent owners and developers, including Pearl Properties, Parkway Corporation, Equity Commonwealth, Alterra Properties, American Campus Communities, Wexford Science & Technology, and MRP Realty. In addition to this, I currently oversee retail leasing and strategic initiatives for the University of Pennsylvania’s 350,000 square foot retail portfolio. My work focuses primarily on Center City and University City, as well as their surrounding neighborhoods.
As managing director of MSC Retail’s Philadelphia operations, I oversee all transactional work, business development, and strategic initiatives for our urban team. MSC Retail is a point of convergence for owners, developments, retailers, restaurateurs and consumers, and it is our job to make valuable connections that add value for all of our clients. Philadelphia is experiencing a renaissance and an unprecedented period of growth, and we at MSC are proud to be a part of that revival.
I am a life-long Philadelphian. While growing up in Center City, I fell in love with architecture and developed a passion for the historic real estate of the city. This led me to double major in urban studies and art history at the University of Pennsylvania. Favorite restaurants: Dmitri’s, Palizzi Social Club, Good Spoon Soupery and Cafe Lutecia. Favorite beverages: pinot noir and ketel one martinis. Favorite Philadelphia retail stores: Rikumo, Provenance and Lapstone & Hammer. I currently serve on the board of the Philadelphia School, my elementary school alma mater, and the Childhood Resilience Foundation, a funding organization for child advocacy causes around the country. I currently live in Washington Square with my wife Natalie.
Every year I travel with other wine geeks to Sonoma for a wine festival. It’s the best weekend of the year.
