Partner & Managing Director
My career in real estate began in 2007, when I started with MSC Retail as an associate. Over the years I have represented some of Philadelphia’s most prominent owners and developers, including the Parkway Corporation, Equity Commonwealth, Alterra Properties, American Campus Communities, MM Partners, Wexford Science & Technology, Kushner Companies, and Green Courte Partners. In addition to this, I currently handle retail leasing for the city’s most prestigious universities, including the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University. My work focuses primarily on Center City and its surrounding neighborhoods, including University City, Old City, Northern Liberties, Fairmount and South Philadelphia.
As managing director of MSC’s Philadelphia operations, I oversee all transactional work, business development, and strategic initiatives for the city team. MSC Retail is a point of convergence for owners, developments, retailers, restaurateurs and consumers, and it is our job to make valuable connections that add value for our clients. Philadelphia is experiencing a cultural renaissance and period of growth, and we are proud to be a part of the revival.
I am a life-long Philadelphian. While growing up in Center City, I fell in love with architecture and developed a passion for the historic real estate of the city. This led me to double major in Urban Studies and Art History at The University of Pennsylvania. I enjoy listening to jazz, eating a well-composed charcuterie plate, drinking California pinot noir or a perfect martini, and wallowing in the desperation of our city’s perpetual search for a Superbowl. I currently live in Washington Square West with my wife Natalie.
Every year I travel with other wine geeks to Sonoma County for the Anderson Valley Pinot Noir Festival. It’s the best weekend of the year.
