Vice President & Director, MSC University
Having worked in higher education my entire career years, it is fair to say I love the energy on and around college campuses. Prior to graduating from Temple University, I had already begun my career and was working as a Community Assistant and Leasing Manager for American Campus Communities (ACC). Upon graduation, I worked my way through the ranks of ACC, eventually making my way to the corporate office where I managed on-campus development projects across the country. My experience managing on-campus / P3 development projects (totaling over half a billion dollars) provides the foundation for my understanding of how students and universities operate.
You know when you visit your alma mater for Homecoming and ask, “Why is campus so much cooler than it was when I was in school?” That’s the work of MSC University. As Vice President & Director of MSC University, I help redefine campuses and business improvement districts all over the country to attract students, impress alumni, retain talent and engage the community. I take my role as Philadelphia Magazine’s “Best Real Estate Visionary” very seriously…Basically, it’s our job to ensure that everyone who lives near, works at, or comes to campus has a unique and memorable experience.
I live with my wife, Emily, our rescue dog, Cassidy and our daughter, Lenora in Philadelphia. I fancy myself an “above average” home cook, and I also enjoy exploring new restaurants in our neighborhood. I am always eager to connect for a cup of coffee and have been accused of overcaffinating from time to time.
I have a medium to large collection of exotic animal heads made from papier-mâché. And they all have names…
