I knew I wanted to pursue a path in real estate after completing my undergraduate degree in economics and global relations at UC Santa Barbara. After college, I worked for a hotel developer in my hometown Los Angeles and got exposed to the fun, fast paced world of hospitality. I realized I wanted to be in real estate for the long-run and completed my MBA in commercial real estate development at University of Miami, FL. While living in South Beach, I worked for the retail leasing team for the Bal Harbour Shops. It was then that my personal love for shopping and zeal for real estate aligned. After receiving my masters, I moved to New York City and continued to work in retail leasing assets across the country for a publicly-traded REIT. I bring my tri-coastal experience to MSC focusing on SoCal retail, restaurants and hotels.
I enjoy retail real estate as both a consumer and creator. After working closely with national and regional fitness, food, apparel, and service tenants across the country, I'm excited to bring these concepts to my hometown of Los Angeles. My role at MSC will be landlord and tenant representation and consulting in the Southern CA market. My past experience has been leasing a variety of product types in new construction, redevelopments, strip centers, malls, lifestyle centers, and out-parcels. I love being able to bring a vision to reality and converting an executed deal to a grand opening.
When I'm not in the office I'm doing anything active or outdoors from swimming, running, biking, yoga, or hiking. I love traveling domestically and abroad, trying new cuisines, and learning to cook them afterwards. If I'm not stuck in LA traffic or getting smothered by my big fat Persian family, I'm out discovering a new boutique, hangout, or workout studio with friends.
I've lived in three beach cities and still don't know how to surf... Working on it.
